During the last hundred years, many Australians, Aboriginal and white, gave their lives in four wars. Every country town has its memorial, and many families gave several children.
Under a Government policy — well-intended to help integration — Aboriginal children were removed from their families. In retrospect this was a mistake. My quilt is for all lost children.
